Red Morden…a name to conjure with! Torn from the classic sword and sorcery tradition born in the torrid pulp magazines of the 1930’s, Morden’s is a tale of dark horror, strange and murderous creatures, lost love and an insatiable drive for vengeance along the razored edge of a dripping axe!
This is the definitive collection of Red Morden’s dark fantasy adventures, told in a groundbreaking mix of traditional comic/graphic novel storytelling and lushly illustrated prose fiction! A lavish, 128+ page hardcover homage to the pulps that gave birth to fantastic serialized fiction! Magazines like Weird Tales, Amazing Stories and Doc Savage brought us the works of action/adventure/horror legends like Robert E. Howard (Conan, Kull), H.P. Lovecraft (The Cthulhu mythos) and C. L. Moore (Black God’s Kiss), serving up savagery, mystery and dangerous magic on a monthly basis, paving the way for the modern comic book format of storytelling and introducing generations to flights of unimaginable fantasy!

Hey Everyone--I got some very sad news last week that a dear friend of mine from Connecticut took his own life--I'm very sad about this--and I wish he could have gotten help. He was in a number of CT bands in the 90s--The Shine is one of them. (MossMoken, The Trustfund Cowboys, Sons of 13) We started putting up some songs on Spotify, iTunes , Pandora etc-Anyway--if your into 90s indie rock-please give them a listen. We will be uploading new songs every month.

Here's my little memory piece I did about Dan--
Rest in peace Dan O! I miss you so much already!!! —It took me a while to go through my boxes of old photos to find these pics of Dan. I’m so sorry, my friend that we can’t be looking at these together. Dan will be missed by everyone he touched. I can't verbalize how incredibly talented and gifted Dan was as a musician. His music, words and vocals were truly touching. He was a great friend with a quirky and witty sense of humor. He would always do these funny facebook posts that would brighten my day. I enjoyed our times together when he played with The Shine, The Trustfund Cowboys, MossMoken. Danny, myself and a few other friends shared an art/music studio in an old Watertown factory building on Echo Lake Road. We played music, made art and had some great times. Dan was always kind and generous, a really great friend. We lost touch when I moved away, but we tried to talk every year or every two years--we last spoke maybe 3-4 months ago--and Dan seemed to be fine and coping with stuff like we all do--but he seemed happy. We talked about the old days, music and old friends that we don't see that much anymore. As a person, you always want to be moving forward, but sometimes you just want to go back to the 90s. Dan agreed. I'm really sad about this as I'm sure we all are. Dan, if you're up there looking down, please know that we are all going to miss you very much!! I pray that all of us, your family and friends can somehow find strength and peace!
